Moving Animals takes over the
GVA Animal Lounge at Geneva Airport.
In April 2024, Moving Animals took over the mandate from Swissport & DNATA to manage the Geneva animal station – GVA Animal Lounge
Our team is supporting the FSVO with the veterinary checks and care for the
animals arriving at Geneva-Airport. Should their arrival be after hours, rest assured
that we will provide their dinner and a comfortable bed.
All of us at Moving Animals are dog & cat owners ourselves! We treat your sweeties, like we would want our own fur kids to be looked after. We understand the stress of a separation from you and should your pet unexpectedly stay overnight at the GVA Animal Lounge, do not hesitate to contact us for an update on:
It takes good planning and preparation when it comes to relocating two Syrian Brown Bears internationally! Moving Animals was involved from a very early stage in coordinating their big journey. We worked together with the თბილისის ზოოპარკი • Tbilisi Zoo to ensure that the right documentation was available and that crates complied with IATA Live Animal Regulations. Together with our local partner Gosselin Group in Georgia, we coordinated the flights with Turkish Airlines via Istanbul to Zurich.
"Dalia" was kept as a pet in a village when she was a cub and "Tamar" lived her first years in a small zoo that couldn’t provide for her properly. The two were then brought to Zoo Tbilisi.
“Dalia & Tamar” are joining a male bear named “Taki” at Natur- und Tierpark Goldau and are becoming part of the European Endangered Species Program (EEP). The reunion shall happen next year, during mating season. 💙🩵 … See MoreSee Less
Bonnie, Clyde & Kyda – what an adorable trio!
They (together with their Bengal kitty friend Acira) arrived today from Cape Town, South Africa.
And look at how well behaved they are – to be fair, Marc was holding goodies in his hands!
